Tara accidentally started Plumbheavy in 2000 when her freelance work became more than she could manage (which is a lot!). Passionate about great design and uncompromising about quality, not much has changed since those days. She still has her hands in all the cookie jars and to this day takes an active role in most work the studio produces.

Bernie has been bringing the yang to Plumbheavy since 2002 when he stopped working for “the man” and became “the man”. (Ironically, he is the only man currently on staff). His energy and eccentricity have become synonymous with the company culture through the years. Bernie stays busy maintaining client relationships while keeping the creative team charged.

Her formal training as a designer combined with 17 years of experience in the design, paper, print, and advertising industries brings an invaluable skill-set to the team.

Marilyn is an energetic designer with a ton of innovative ideas and the skills to bring a project together beautifully. Erin once admitted to having a habit of “constantly rearranging everything in her house”. It wasn’t surprising as she is always seeking a fresh perspective and never settles for the status-quo. These qualities combined with her “get-it-done” attitude make her a perfect fit for the team.
